An original production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring an overhead view of Magneto as he arrives to discuss the liberation of mutant kind with the United Nations, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and use during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Sanctuary, Part 1," which aired on October 21, 1995. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 4.5"x4", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and minimal paper transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
